Your Will Be Done

In the Garden of Gethsemane Jesus prayed the hardest words he ever prayed: “Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.” When we pray in the Lord’s Prayer “your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven,” we are praying the words Jesus taught us, the words he himself prayed when facing his greatest agony.
