Greater Rest

Throughout the book of Hebrews, Jesus is presented as greater in multiple ways. Greater than angels, greater than Moses and, in this Sunday’s text, greater than his namesake, Joshua. Joshua led Israel into the land of rest, but that rest points into the future where “there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God.” How can you be sure you will enter that Greater Rest?
